Turbocharger remanufacturing facility in Asian No.1

Okegawa plant has transfered their operation from Honywell(Garrett) Japan Co.Inc. to TTS since Feb-2000. Okegawa plant is producing Reman turbocharger for passenger and racing cars, trucks.
Tokyo plant mainly produce turbochargers for agricultural equipment, marine, construction,and power generation applications. Pro-Staff of both plants have excellent experiences to produce high quality and high liability products. Okegawa plant has high capability for demand increasing in future.

Turbocharger Re-Manufacturing PROCESS

TTS makes full use of processing precision that is severer than a genuine turbo, the bearing coating , and it-related, raised firing characteristics-resistant, highly precise balance specifications, TTS original reman technology to make the turbo which can bear it even if I attach it to the bad condition engine of the aftermarket (Turbo Reman in the next generation).


Disassembly & Cleaning process

TTS arrange like the outside vender / facilities and perform the mass disassembly / cleaning by the shorten lead time.
Disassembly - Chemical Cleaning process

At the chemicals cleaning line, we manage it every each part in temperature and time. Finished by Remove oil → Rust (process of acid )→ Black rust removal (alkali).
Move to the process of the blast shot afterwards.

The carbon removal of the details is performed by a dry process blast machine (Compressor and a Turbine housing) or a wet process blast machine (Turbine shaft, Center Hsg, Impeller). We are completely in a clean condition by high pressure automatic washing machine by the last process.

Rotor balancing

Turbine wheel & shaft and the impeller repair it with the balancing

 

The balance revision cuts phase position with dril. We repeat this work till it pass the standard specifications that TTS is severe.

 

Only the part which passed the rotor balance moves to the next assembling process. (A new model balancer introduces it in December, 2006)

The latest processing machine

Our original technology is made on each component part

A part becoming the disposal originally revives in the part reproduction technology that I cultivated in a turbo maker in mint condition. In addition, the major part produces it in TTS originally. There is the part supply from the turbo maker, and supply is possible stability without depending on core.

[High Reman technology]

A new article could revivify a bearing bore and the clearance of each seal part of the turbocharger, and the addition mechanic by the original technology enabled high part sulvage rate

Assembling and a practical use level VSR test

Perform (it is more than 100,000 RPM while supplying oil) balancing , an oil breaking through check, shakedown cruise when put on an engine in 100%, the state of the center cartridge, and it is completely tested and, as well as the simple substance balancer of a highly precise rotor, incorporates (VSR balance tester), both housings, and I calibrate the actuator, and it is shipped.

Based on everyday production schedule, the system advances.

 

It is confirmed an all quantity in a VSR tester with balance in the last.

In the VSR tester, put it up to the rotary use level of the turbo, and balance, the confirmation of the oil leak, shakedown cruise are performed.

The VSR pass product moves to last assembling process, and actuator adjustment process
